Rachel as Balinese!

One of Rachel's best friends from our village (Amstenrade) comes from Bali. Rachel and Adriana are "dikke vriendinnen" (close friends) and love to be/play together every day. Once, Adriana's mother promised Rachel to transform her into a real Balinese. Last Sunday, it took her 1 hour to dress Rachel and the result was amazing! (only the Artengo socks are not from Bali ! hahaha!).

One more time...at the swimming pool

Last Saturday, Rachel & Floyd went swimming with Jeanny. They loved it! Sinterklaas was arriving in the country that day so the swimming pool was relatively quiet and they could play for 6 hours long in the water! They finished their day with "frietjes" at Mac Donald! Just a great day and a nice memory with Jeanny at a Dutch swimming pool...

Our house is getting empty

We are selling all our stuff! We decided not to take too much with us, so our whole house is for sale! Beds, closets, tables, chairs, games, books, everything from cellar to attic! The kids' beds are already gone! Our one will go next week Tuesday! Next week Saturday, we will organize a Garage Sale so that the rest can be sold as fast as possible! The goal is to go with very limited stuff. Feeling of freedom, non-attachment. Great feeling!

USA! Here we come!

Finally, our dream comes true. On December 10th, 2007 we will leave Amsterdam (NL) and fly direction Minneapolis (USA)! We are happy to share this adventure and keep contact with all of you (family members and great friends). We will post regularly on this weblog so that you can follow our American adventure.
